Our society must have a ” Safety Net”, however it should be such that does not lead to a socialist economy. If it does, the “Safety Net” eventually

will not be fulfilled since socialist economies can not generate the needed wealth. However, we must modify our current “Free Market” economic

model so that the wealth is distributed by the private sector in such a way that the “Safety Network” will be less demanding.

The American Dream is always in danger. To keep it alive we, our society, must
stay vigilant in maintaining and sustaining the principles that have made the dream the wonder of the world. Those principles include “economic freedom” with correct non-ideological regulations, creative tax laws, and self reliance. Realistic and long term policies and acceptance of technological developments, globalization, and borderless movement of capital. We need to improve our “free” market capitalism for creating wealth that is fairly distributed through creative use of tax laws, risk-reward opportunities that includes a safety net for the unable!
